Dr. Raúl López Castillo

Medical director of the Laser Clinic in Reynosa, Dr. Raúl López Castillo has been practicing beautiful cosmetic surgery for the past 11 years. He is a popular speaker on the topic of esthetic enhancements and appears every Monday on a McAllen, Texas’ Channel 48 television program to answer audience questions about elective plastic surgery. Thoroughly bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. López caters half of his practice to a U.S. clientele.

Dr. López underwent his medical studies at the Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (Monterrey, Mexico). He then went on to complete his residency at the Hospital Universitario de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in 1993. Dr. López is board certified by the Mexican Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In addition, Dr. López holds membership in several reputable national and international professional associations, including the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Asociación Mexicana de Cirugía Plástica A.C., the Consejo Mexicano de Cirugía Plástica, and the Colegio Noreste de Cirugía Plástica Estética y Reconstructiva. He is also a member of the Border Plastic Surgeons.
